What is the Role:
James Tirecraft is seeking a permanent, full-time, 3rd year or higher apprentice and or Red Seal Commercial Truck and Trailer Technician. The ideal candidate will use their skills to diagnose, repair, and inspect commercial truck and trailers, ensuring the optimal operation of our customers’ fleets.

The ideal candidate will use their skills to diagnose, repair, and inspect commercial truck and trailers, ensuring the optimal operation of our customers’ fleets.
Responsabilities:
- Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Perform efficient and accurate mechanical repairs.
- Maintain effective and positive communication with service advisors and fellow technicians.
- Engage in discussions, diagnose issues, and devise solutions to complex problems.
- Keep the shop area organized and tidy.
- Conduct road tests to ensure quality repair work.
- Perform Commercial Vehicle Inspections

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Truck and Trailer Technician.
- Red Seal Commercial Truck and Trailer Technician is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Valid Inspectors certificate is and asset.
- Engine experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with current computer-based diagnostic programs and equipment.
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills.
